Website

Around the age of 14, I was really into syracuse basketball when Gerry McNamara shot it lights out. We would go to about 4 game per season and it was a fun time. I would've made a fan club sort of website that acknowledged the team. Have a discussion forum, pictures, and highlights, it would've all been there.

Scared

I've always had a fear of getting called on in class and not knowing what to say, that could be because either I wasn't paying attention, or because I get too nervous and blank out, or you just don't know the answer. And, being fair skinned like myself, my face turns pretty red when I become embarrassed. Oh well, I just always have to be on my heels in class.

Somebody I would like to meet

I would like to meet Gerry McNamara, the Syracuse Orange star 3 point shooter. I grew up watching him play, hitting a buzzer beater every other game it seemed like, whenever Gerry would drain another three at the Carrier Dome, it got LOUD. I would like to meet him and talk about what goes through his mind on the court, he has total concentration.

The Perfect First Date

Um, go grab a bite to eat, go to the movies, or watch a sports game, something of that effect, have conversation, so there is no awkward silence, and have a good time. Simple, and to the point.

Annoying Celebrity

I would probably have to agree with you and say Lindsay Lohan as well. Either Lindsay or Britney Spears. Both are the same type of stories, start out cute in the acting or music business, make loads of money, and end up doing something wrong on the news. That is what media is based upon.

This Summer

This summer I plan on using the little time I have before college starts, and relax. I'm hoping to sleep in every day, and doing whatever comes about throughout the day. Usually, we go to the outer banks, nc, with either side of our family, but nothing is planned for this summer, so my immediate family will probably end up going somewhere, who knows. I also plan on beating Mike Wesko in a couple of golf matches, as well as play some basketball and some tennis.

Barack

I think our new president is good for America. I believe he has come at the right time in order to recover the economy. Although, I cannot vote, and I honestly wouldn't have known who to vote for, I think it's great to have a breakthrough in history with an African American president, and i'm excited to see what he may bring to the world.

Wild Card

Um, the super bowl is today. I could really care less whoever wins, but I always liked watching all the festivities. The half time show is good to watch, sometimes, and if it is an intense game it's always fun to watch even though I don't really follow football. Oh and chips and dip is always good, you can't go wrong there.

Favorite Book

I do not read books frequently, but I did like Of Mice and Men when we read it in 10th grade. Also, I have read the Harry Potters and they are all good. My favorite was probably The Deathly Hallows.

Flip

It's amazing how portable and easy to use cameras have now become. How many cameras would we have for the class? If there are a good amount, we could break up into groups and create some sort of ad, commercial, or whatever. I'm not sure if you'd be willing to lend them out though...

Crystal Ball

I intend to graduate from college with maybe my masters or a 4 year degree, and seek a job in the engineering field. I hope to aquire a job in the biological field, since I very much enjoyed biology throughout high school. When I was young, I guess I dreamed of being a fighter jet pilot. I think that's what I had my mind set on.

The Economy

The economy today is not doing so well, but, as every other time this happened in history, it bounces back. Today's economy effects stockholders the most, I believe. With the stocks going down, people getting layed off, gas prices fluctuating, it makes it hard for some families to make a decent living. It sucks, but it should bounce back, so I am not that worried.

Technology

Technology plays a major role in our every day life. If it were not for computers, entertainment systems, cell phones, tv's, i'm not sure what some of the human population would end up doing. One thing I was thinking of yesterday, when discussing the english regents with some juniors, is the fact that we should be able to use laptops in school and on exams. I, personally, would be able to write, much neater, faster, and would probably encourage me to write better. This would help in taking notes also. But, it would've been great to have on the english regents, I would've worked way more efficiently and my hand would not be hurting after the first essay.

Hockey

I love to watch hockey. I wish I had started playing when i was younger, but I did not like it back then. I did not see it's potential. The hits, the dekes, the shots, everything about hockey gets my blood pumping everytime I see it on TV, or even better when I am at the game in person. It's great to see Henrik Lundquist get deked out by Derek Roy, or Patrick Kaleta line up a huge hit on someone. There is always a thrill and suspenseful feeling of watching hockey, and I can't get enough of it.
